Dan in the middle of a street in Calgary. Isn't the mountain in the background beautiful?
I don't really know any details about this picture, but it looked cool (literally):
Which do you like better, the dress from the previous post or the bright blue firesuit? Dan says that the guys he's working with have a limited vocabulary--the "f" word comes up a lot:

The first picture was actually taken in Banff. A resort town in Banff National Park. It is about an hour drive west of Calgary.
The second picture was just one of the streets we were driving on in Calgary as we go to the various houses we've been visiting to do our inspections. It had snowed a couple of inches and the side streets were all a mess with snow and ice. The van pulling off to the right is the second Atco Gas crew member I've been working with.
I knew that it was Banff...I just forgot:-) Today I was like a single mother of 8, so forgive me.
I should note for the sake of the parents of the kids that were/are at my house that it has been really fun--I'm not complaining.
Okay, Shelley, thanks for clarifying because I'm feeling a little like a heel for imposing on your hospitality!
As an English teacher, I have been teaching my students new vocabulary like, "Oh fudge!" "Oh darn!" and "Shut the front door!" as opposed to their colorful phrasology. Dan may want to try this with his new friends.
