Joys:
1. When we are all laughing together as a family.
2. Picking Amy up from school.
3. Listening to Kaylynn and Anna playing the piano.
4. Looking at Jeremy and being glad that I have a boy and such an awesome one, too!
Fears:
1. Lack of control over certain things
2. Bothering people or taking up their time
3. Being in charge of things (interesting that this and # 1 are like opposites)
Goals:
1. Be grateful for my body, no matter how fat and squishy it gets. (And even to be grateful that we have enough food to eat so that obesity is possible--it's better than starvation.)
2. Figure out a way to keep the refrigerator organized. I could blame it on the kids, but I'm guilty too. (If anyone has any tips, let me know)
3. Keep a dish-towel available at all times by the kitchen sink. (I tend to use a dishtowel just a couple of times, and then it grosses me out so I put it out in the dirty rag basket in the garage without getting a new one. This drives Dan crazy, so I'm trying to make his life a little more pleasant.)
Obsessions:
1. Food
2. Books
3. Music
Random Facts:
1. I want to have a big vegetable garden someday.
2. I have been thinking lately about becoming a nurse, but I don't know if I have what it takes.
3. I went to IKEA the other day (I had to take Kaylynn to a birthday party at the beach, and I thought I should make the gas expenditure more worthwhile) and I bought a funnel set, a star ice-cube tray, a set of 3 cork trivets, a strainer, a set of little bowls for ice-cream, a couple of pairs of rubber gloves, a set of tealights, a silver planter, a box of cookies, and a bottle of sparkling juice. It was fun, but stupid because it aggravated my foot problems.
